She is eating solids and finger foods...and ideas on an effective way to make sure her oral hygene is good?
7mo, 2 teeth, how should I be cleaning them?
Gently with a baby toothbrush, twice a day.
Reply:If she's breastfed, nurse her right before bed and it's so good for their teeth! Certain foods are good for cleaning teeth and counteracting tartar and plaque, like cheese, apples, and carrots.
After solids, take either a damp washcloth or a soft baby toothbrush and rub them a little. It's not a huge deal yet, just twice a day is fine. And no toothpaste until age 2.
Reply:you can use a damp facecloth (warm water) and wipe her teeth and gums.
Reply:Baby Oragel brand makes a little gray rubber scrubber that you can slip on your finger and brush their teeth and gums with. This makes sure the plaque and residue is gone and your baby's mouth is clean... My son loves it! Just be careful of them biting :-)! Check out the link below... it shows a picture of the brush! Good Luck!
Reply:baby toothbrush, baby toothpaste. gerber has these
Reply:i'm pretty sure they have toothbrushes for children at local stores! if your going to use tooth paste look for the tooth paste that is not harmful if eatten! And use less then a pea size!
Reply:You can either use just a wet wash rag and wipe down the inside of her mouth or you can spend a couple dollars on infant toothpaste and fingerbrush. Gerber has one and so do a few other companies.
Another good way to help is when she's eating solids and finger foods give her water to drink with them. It doesn't have sugar and it'll help wash the residue out of her mouth.
Reply:i really disagree witt d person above cuz dats not helpful obvisouly we all noe dat we shuld by toothpaste nd brush at a store well we need to ask which wun is good foh our babe instead of buying cheapp shytt....
