Does your teeth look super clean after they clean it?

i have never had my teeth cleaned. i brush twice a day and floss. they are clean, but what would they be like after i have them cleaned by the dentist. super clean?

depends on what they looked like before you got them cleaned. They sure feel clean tho!
Reply:Trust me, they feel really good but it really doesn't do much for how your teeth look.
Reply:I am sure they will feel clean. However just because they are cleaned they may not look cleaner. Dirty teeth sometimes look clean and they are not. If you bleach them or something they may appear cleaner since the whiter teeth are the cleaner they look.
Reply:Wishful thinking would say that they would, but reality says they will look about the same. The main benefit that I experienced from a professional cleaning was the dentists ability to clean hard to reach spots and deep cleaning below the gum lines. The dentist or assistant will see all your teeth and gums during this cleaning and they should be able to advise you about dental needs or future needs.





It is like getting a tune up on your car. The mechanic will tell you every little thing wrong with your car and hopefully get you to spend more money while you are there. The same principal applies here. If you really value your smile, you might consider their advice........or not
Reply:You will be able to feel the difference with your tongue. Theoretically, a dentist would only clean your teeth if they needed it.


Many people think they are cleaning adequately, but are missing calculus buildup and other things. Get a checkup to see if everything is all right.
Reply:After I had them cleaned, I feel really good. They clean up to the gum line and clean out the hardened plaque in places you can't see or your floss/toothbrush didn't clean properly. I always feel good afterwards. Like when I run my teeth w/my tongue, it feels super clean. =)
