Isn't brushing your teeth before going to the dentist a bit like cleaning your house before the maid comes?

touche my nose picker.

personally i don't bother having a maid nor do i bother cleaning my house. i feel if i do clean it I should be getting paid, but if I have a maid I feel I should keep it clean... it's a vicious circle.

I tried to pay a prostitute to clean my house once, but she said she was too good for that and that it was "beneath her"...

A little bit, but at the very least you owe your dentist a swish of mouthwash or two.

very good :)

star for you
Reply:Only if the maid is going to have her hands in your mouth.
Reply:yep, and i do my hair before i go to the hairdressers too!
Reply:Not really.

You go to the dentist to make sure that there is nothing wrong with your teeth and to get the plaque scraped off. They don't actually brush your teeth with a toothbrush do they?

Do you want your dentists to have to pick bits of food out of your teeth before they can examine them? Do you want smelly breath when you open your mouth?

I would say it's more like flushing the toilet before your maid cleans it... You wouldn't leave a little present floating in the bowl for them now would you?
Reply:why didnt i think of that? good point!
