Deep Cleaning of Teeth?

Im suppose to have a deep cleaing in a couple of days does it hurt and what exactly do they do?

Deep Cleaning of Teeth?
It is a lot scarier to think about than to have it done. The previous answer is correct, some slight discomfort, but nothing that advil can%26#039;t handle. For me the worst part was listening to the process, so I asked for some headphones, %26amp; that took care of it. Don%26#039;t worry--you%26#039;ll do just fine!!
Reply:They will numb you for this procedure. Basically they will likely take a Cavitron, and clean below your gumline. I always call the Cavitron the %26quot;high powered pressure washer%26quot;. It uses water to clean the areas beneath the gums. They may also just use dental tools to this. Usually, only half of your mouth will be done at a time. After the procedure, you may feel slight discomfort, but an ibuprofen should relieve that. Don%26#039;t be worried, it%26#039;s not a serious procedure and you will be fine!
Reply:I had this fear before and i have only dental problem. I have done many of my teeths. It does hurts sometimes and when it hurts you can ask your doctor to inject and its the only pain of the inject and then you are free. They just use small drill machine and it doesn%26#039;t touch your gums at all. You don%26#039;t need to worry about that. Be strong!

If you don%26#039;t like the drilling voice get your mp3 player along with you and put yourself deep into the music...! It really works out..

I had two ROOT CANAL treatements! Thank God i%26#039;m over with it. It won%26#039;t hurt. What i always do open my mouth wide and give enough of space to the doctor to operate me properly. I%26#039;m always satisfied that way! Honestly...

Don%26#039;t be afarid, its just one sitting and next time you won%26#039;t have this fear!
