Is it safe to have teeth x-rays %26amp; deep cleaning when you%26#039;re pregnant? My gums are swollen %26amp; bleeding.?

Reply:I%26#039;m in my 13th week of pregnancy and i just read in the book %26quot;What to expect when you%26#039;re expecting%26quot; this morning that swollen gums and bleeding is a common symptom in pregnancy. I wouldn%26#039;t worry too much about it. If it%26#039;s really bad and you need to go to the dentist... it also said that there was no problem, but just make sure you tell your dentist (if you%26#039;re not showing yet) that you%26#039;re pregnant.

I recomend that book!!!
Reply:No problem on both, but make sure you wear the lead vest during x-rays (that are directed on your teeth)

Specially if you are pregnant, you need take care of your teeth.
