Do you rinse with water after cleaning your teeth with paste?

Yes - I do now - after spending years brushing the toothpaste away with plain water - I discovered I was actually washing away the very protection I was using the toothpaste for!

Best technique is brush your teeth then rinse - use a tongue scraper as well - it%26#039;s like cleaning the house but never hoovering the floors! (Dentist%26#039;s advice).

Do you rinse with water after cleaning your teeth with paste?
No bleach............
Reply:yes to get rid of that horrid taste
Reply:Yeah, I really don%26#039;t like toothpaste, I like to make sure I%26#039;ve got all of it out.
Reply:Always!
Reply:yes, i do
Reply:You are supposed to rinse with mouthwash. But water works too.
Reply:yes
Reply:Yes or mouth wash.
Reply:Most people do, but you shouldn%26#039;t really... the paste protects your teeth against plaque...
Reply:nope, with mouth wash...the one everyone hates --even its own manufacturer.
Reply:Mouthwash
Reply:yes always not really to do with not liking the taste of tooth paste just out of habit i suppose
Reply:Of course I do but some dentists advise otherwise saying that the fluoride will help protect teeth.
Reply:Depends on what paste you use. Wallpaper paste is water soluable and you wouldn%26#039;t want to dilute it with water after applying it to your teeth.

It is recomended that you rinse your mouth with water after appling toothpaste because you don%26#039;t want to walk around looking like a dog with rabbies.

And yes, I do... you should too.
Reply:Usually
Reply:Nope...I rinse with mouth wash.
Reply:Yes, or listerine
Reply:Yes, if you swallow the tooth pase it will make you stomach ache.
Reply:yA U r supposed to because too much intake of toothpaste into ur stomach can upset it......and i hate the taste too..........its got chemicals in it u know.........
Reply:no, i use vodka, its like a mouthwash.
Reply:yes
Reply:Personally i clean my teeth, rinse with water and then inhibit bacterial growth by using a mouthwash / corsodyl.

Hope that helps x x
Reply:Yes, because you don%26#039;t want to ingest some of the things that are usually in toothpastes, such as the fluoride.
Reply:yes i do. I am surprised at some of your answers though. I thought that everyone rinsed with water. I mean, you just brushed all that crap off...if you dont spit it out and rinse it...what do you do? swallow it? yuck!
Reply:Yes - warm water in winter; cool in summer.
Reply:always with mouth wash, leaving paste residue in your mouth does no harm at all just keeps your breath minty for longer
Reply:Yeah i do with water out of habit but i know u shouldnt.
Reply:yes always
Reply:Always! If you hold the foam in your mouth instead of spitting it all out, then rinse with water, the mint in the toothpaste refreshes your whole mouth. Then several more rinses to ensure it%26#039;s all gone.
Reply:No, my dentist told me it is better not to as the residual paste helps to protect your teeth for longer.
